Why NUWU Cannabis Courtyard Is My Favorite Place to Smoke in Vegas

Why NUWU Cannabis Courtyard Is My Favorite Place to Smoke in Vegas

I must admit, starting my weed journey in a place like Vegas, where cannabis is legal and accepted, has been one of the best parts of my story with this plant. Being a Black woman who gets to explore weed openly and without fear is something I never take for granted. A lot of people who look like me don’t get to do that. And many of us are still sitting in jail for the same thing that others are out here making money off of. That’s always been hard for me to sit with.

I don’t know exactly how I want to show up in that conversation yet. I’m still figuring out what advocacy looks like for me and how to use my voice in a way that feels honest. But even while I’m figuring it out, I’m always thankful that I get to have these experiences at all.

One place that’s been a big part of that is NUWU Cannabis Dispensary. It’s Pauite-owned and located on tribal land, which means they have their own rules. That’s how they were able to open a cannabis tasting room lounge before anyone else. I remember how excited I was when it first opened. I think I went three or four times before COVID hit, and they had to close it down. It wasn’t super fancy or curated or anything like that. But it felt right. It felt like somewhere I could chill and smoke without it being a big deal. And that meant something to me.

Post-COVID: A Backyard Vibe Like No Other with Nuwu Cannabis

After COVID, when things started feeling a little safer and I was ready to be back outside, I already knew where I wanted to go first. NUWU had always felt like a safe and easy place to be, so I was curious to see what they did with the space. And when I say they upgraded, I mean they really did it.

They built out this whole backyard-style Courtyard behind the dispensary. It’s outdoor, chill, and feels like someone turned a regular smoking session into an actual experience. There’s a dab bar, a whole drink menu with canna-cocktails, and an area to buy pre-rolls and flower just for on-site use. The staff will light it for you if you need help, but let me go ahead and say this now — bring your own lighter. Otherwise you’re going to be up and down the whole time asking for one. If you’re already relaxed and halfway into your joint, you’re not going to want to keep getting up. Just toss one in your bag.

The sun out there? Hot. I mean hot. Vegas doesn’t play when it comes to heat, and the Courtyard is an outdoor setup. I still love it, but if you’re thinking of going around noon or early afternoon, dress accordingly. Shade is limited and you’ll be sweating through your outfit in minutes if you’re not prepared. I usually try to go late afternoon when the sun’s starting to calm down or bring layers if I plan to stay a while.

The whole setup gives you room to breathe. You can sit, chat, sip a drink, and just relax. There’s music playing, people around, but it never feels overwhelming. It just feels easy. If you’re someone who’s ever wished weed could be more social without it turning into a scene, this is that.

Inside the Nuwu Cannabis Shop and the Sky Lounge Upstairs

Right next to the Courtyard is the regular NUWU dispensary. This is where you can shop for your usual flower, carts, edibles, and everything else. The setup is big and smooth. It never feels like you’re being rushed, and I’ve always had good convos with some of the budtenders when I had questions or just wanted to try something new. Whether you’re picking up for home or looking for a vibe, you’ll find what you need there.

Upstairs is the Sky Lounge. I was able to go during one of their 420 celebrations, and I’m really glad I did. It has a more curated feel compared to the backyard. You go up and it’s like, okay, we’re doing cannabis luxury now. The Sky Lounge has its own menu and a whole different atmosphere. You can order and smoke up there, but the coolest part? If you hit a bong during your session, you have the option to buy it and take it home. I thought that was such a smart idea. It’s perfect for someone visiting or even locals who want a souvenir that’s not cheesy.

The Sky Lounge also hosts events. Some are themed, some are more relaxed, but it’s worth checking their calendar if you’re planning a visit. It’s not just a smoke spot, it’s more like an experience. If the Courtyard is where you go to kick back and feel the sun, the Sky Lounge is where you go to feel a little elevated and enjoy your weed in a different way.

I’ve added a picture below of the old Tasting Room setup which I’m sure probably improved from then!

Getting To Nuwu Cannabis and the Drive-Thru Setup

Nuwu Cannabis Drive-Thru

If you’re thinking about going to NUWU, I really recommend just taking an Uber or Lyft. It makes everything easier, especially if you plan to smoke or sip while you’re there. You don’t want to be worrying about driving after. That said, if you do decide to drive, they’ve got plenty of parking. It’s not one of those tight lots where you’re circling forever. You can pull in, find a spot, and chill. Just be smart about it. Don’t have open containers, don’t smoke in the car, and definitely don’t bring kids. Everyone in the car needs to be 21 and up, they don’t play about that.

And now for one of my favorite parts , NUWU has a drive-thru. Yes, a drive-thru for weed. You can literally roll up and get your order from your car (remember everyone 21 and up in the car!). It’s quick and super convenient, especially if you’re on the go or just don’t feel like going inside. But you do have to order ahead. Don’t just show up expecting to browse through the window like it’s fast food. Go online, place your order, and make sure you have your ID ready when you get there. I’ve used the drive-thru a few times when I just needed to re-up but didn’t want the full Courtyard or lounge experience. It’s efficient, but still feels like NUWU welcoming and no stress.

If you’re ever in Vegas and want a different kind of cannabis experience, NUWU is the spot. It feels personal. It feels rooted. And it’s not trying to be a scene. Between the backyard Courtyard, the Sky Lounge upstairs, and even the drive-thru, it gives you options to enjoy the plant the way that works for you.

They also host events in the Sky Lounge and sometimes in the backyard. If you want to check that out for your trip, I’ll link the event calendar below. I’m also adding links to the Sky Lounge menu and the Courtyard drink menu so you can plan your vibe before you go.

And bring a lighter and a portable fan. Just do it. You can checkout their website here! Cheers!

No-Bake Infused Valentine’s Day Treats (Made With Cannabutter) + Easy Weed Mocktails

No-Bake Infused Valentine’s Day Treats (Made With Cannabutter) + Easy Weed Mocktails

If you’ve been searching for no-bake infused Valentine’s Day treats or no-bake edibles made with cannabutter, this one’s for you. These are cute, simple, and realistic to make without turning Valentine’s Day into a full-time job. I’m sharing 3 no-bake infused treats plus 2 easy weed mocktails that feel a little fancy but still low effort.

Quick note: 21+ only where cannabis is legal. Dose responsibly and don’t do the “it’s not working so let me eat three more” thing. We’ve all been there.

Dosing that actually makes sense (simple and specific)

Before we get into the cute desserts, I want to make dosing easy. Nothing ruins a cozy night faster than accidentally sending yourself into outer space because you guessed your cannabutter strength.

First things first, you need a rough idea of how strong your cannabutter is. If you’re making it from scratch, use my step-by-step recipe here: → My Cannabutter Recipe

Once you know your butter is roughly X mg per tablespoon, the rest is straightforward.

For Valentine’s treats, I always recommend keeping it gentle:

  • 5mg per serving = cute + chill + functional
  • 10mg per serving = stronger (only if you already know your tolerance)

Here’s the formula I use every time:

Total THC in the batch ÷ number of servings = mg per serving

So if your cannabutter is 20mg per tablespoon and you use 2 tablespoons, that’s 40mg total in the batch. If you split it into 8 servings, you’re at 5mg each (40 ÷ 8 = 5). That’s the sweet spot.

Now to the fun stuff!

No-Bake Infused Valentine’s Day Treats (Made With Cannabutter)

1) No-Bake Infused Strawberry Cheesecake Cups

These look like you bought them from somewhere cute, but they’re honestly one of the easiest things on the planet. Perfect if you want Valentine’s dessert vibes without baking anything.

What you need

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1½ cups whipped topping (or whipped heavy cream)
  • 2–4 tbsp powdered sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • crushed graham crackers or Golden Oreos
  • strawberries (fresh) or a spoon of strawberry jam

How to infuse it without ruining the texture

The best way to dose these evenly is infusing the crust layer. The cheesecake stays smooth, and you don’t have to worry about weird butter pockets.

Crust base

  • 1 cup crushed grahams
  • 2 tbsp melted cannabutter (or 1 tbsp cannabutter + 1 tbsp regular butter)

Dosing example (5mg per cup)

If your cannabutter is 20mg per tablespoon, then:

2 tbsp = 40mg total

If you make 8 cups: 40 ÷ 8 = 5mg per cup

Quick method

  1. Mix crushed grahams + melted cannabutter
  2. Press into the bottom of 6–8 small cups
  3. Beat cream cheese + sugar + vanilla until smooth
  4. Fold in whipped topping
  5. Spoon into cups
  6. Top with strawberries (or jam)
  7. Chill 30 minutes… or eat it immediately, I’m not judging!

2) No-Bake Infused Oreo Truffles

These are dangerous because they taste like bakery desserts with basically zero effort. They’re also perfect if you want something bite-sized and cute.

What you need

  • 1 pack Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • chocolate chips or candy melts
  • sprinkles

How to infuse them without making it complicated

Instead of infusing the whole chocolate coating (which can get messy), do an infused drizzle. It keeps the dosing simple and you still get the effect.

Infused chocolate drizzle

  • Melt ½ cup chocolate
  • Stir in 1 tbsp melted cannabutter (low heat, mix well)

Dosing example

If your cannabutter is 30mg per tbsp, that drizzle has 30mg total. If you drizzle it across 12 truffles: 30 ÷ 12 = 2.5mg per truffle (light dose) If you want closer to 5mg each, use 2 tbsp cannabutter in the drizzle, depending on your butter strength.

Quick method

  1. Crush Oreos into crumbs
  2. Mix with cream cheese
  3. Roll into balls (12–16)
  4. Chill 20 minutes
  5. Dip in regular chocolate OR drizzle the infused chocolate on top
  6. Add sprinkles and chill again

3) Infused Rice Krispie Hearts

This is the quickest “I made something” dessert ever. And the heart cutter makes it look like you really tried.

What you need

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 10 oz marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp butter total
  • heart cookie cutter

Easy dosing setup

I like doing a split butter situation:

  • 1 tbsp cannabutter
  • 2 tbsp regular butter

Example: if your cannabutter is 30mg per tbsp, the batch has 30mg total. Cut into 6 hearts = 5mg per heart.

Quick method

  1. Melt butter + marshmallows on LOW
  2. Stir in cereal
  3. Press into pan
  4. Cool 10 minutes
  5. Cut hearts

Optional but cute: dip half in chocolate and add sprinkles. Yum!

Easy Valentine’s Weed Mocktails (cute and beginner-friendly)

These are intentionally simple, because your treats can do most of the work. You can keep these non-infused, or add tincture if you want a little extra lift.

Mocktail 1: Strawberry “Rosé” Mocktail

  • strawberry puree or muddled strawberries
  • lemon or lime juice
  • sparkling water or non-alcoholic rosé
  • ice

Mocktail 2: Cherry Limeade Mocktail

  • cherry juice
  • lime juice
  • Sprite/7UP or club soda
  • ice

If you want to infuse mocktails safely (use tincture)

Tincture is the safest option for drinks because it’s measurable. If you’re also eating treats, I suggest starting small, like 2.5mg per drink.

How to do it

  1. Check your tincture label (mg per dropper)
  2. Add the tincture to the glass BEFORE pouring the drink
  3. Stir well

Example

If your tincture is 10mg per dropper:

  • ¼ dropper ≈ 2.5mg
  • ½ dropper ≈ 5mg

One rule: don’t free-pour tincture into a pitcher. Do individual glasses so everyone controls their own dose!

Valentine’s tips for a cute night that doesn’t knock you out

If you want to do a little infused Valentine’s setup without accidentally overdoing it, the easiest thing is keeping it simple and keeping the dose low. You don’t need a full dessert table or anything dramatic. One treat, one drink, and a cozy vibe is more than enough. I’m always aiming for “cute and controlled,” not “help why is the room spinning.”

The safest way to do it is making your treats around 5mg each, especially if you’re trying more than one thing. That’s the sweet spot where you can actually enjoy the night and not be stuck waiting for your edible to stop yelling at you. If you know you have a higher tolerance, you can go up, but Valentine’s is not the day to experiment with your limits.

For the mocktails, I honestly recommend keeping them non-infused if you’re planning to eat treats. That way, if you want a second dessert or you want to snack again later, you’re not stacking your dose without realizing it. A cute drink can still feel special without being medicated. If you do want to infuse your mocktail, I’d keep it super light, like 2.5mg max, and only if you’re not going heavy on the treats.

And please don’t let the “it’s been 20 minutes and I don’t feel anything” thought win. Edibles will humble you. Give it at least 60–90 minutes before you decide you need more. The goal is a soft night in, not a surprise trip to the moon because you got impatient after a strawberry cheesecake cup.

To make it feel like Valentine’s without doing the most, you only need a couple small touches. Heart sprinkles, a pink straw, a candle, or even just putting everything on a cute tray instantly makes it feel intentional. It doesn’t have to be a whole Pinterest production. A little effort goes a long way when the snacks are already giving cute.

If you make one thing from this post, make the cheesecake cups. They’re easy to portion, easy to serve, easy to dose, and they look like you put in way more work than you actually did. That’s my Valentine’s Day plan! Cute treats, chill dose, and nobody getting accidentally launched into space (unless I want to)!

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine Book Review (Domestic Thriller)

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine Book Review (Domestic Thriller)

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine book review featuring a twisty domestic thriller.

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is a domestic psychological thriller that gives rich-people chaos, obsession, and a woman who wants someone else’s life way too bad. The wealth in this book is actually insane. I don’t even know if I fully understand how the wealthy live for real, but it was still such an interesting perspective to read through, because everything is bigger, shinier, and somehow more dangerous.

I loved this book even though I’m not going to lie… I did think the ending was a little predictable once the twist started coming into focus. Not in a way that made it unenjoyable, just in a “okay yeah I see where this is going” kind of way. But the thing is, the author set this story up really well, especially with the way the perspectives are written. The pacing made it hard to stop, and the voice for each main character was distinct enough that you stay locked in.

What really worked for me was the way the story builds tension with image, status, and control. It’s not just a “she’s jealous” book. It’s very much about power, access, and how someone can quietly insert themselves into your life while you’re not paying attention. I also liked how the writing made the setting feel real, even when I couldn’t relate to the lifestyle at all. It still felt immersive.

My only real critique is that I wanted more time with the controlling behavior and the full impact of it. I wanted to see more of the tension and the ways it affected the women beyond what we got, but maybe that’s something the second book explores more. I’m still deciding if I’m even reading the next one though, because the premise looks like a lot of teaming up and back-and-forth and I don’t know if I’m in the mood for that… but I also might be judging too early.

Also, I heard Jennifer Lopez is filming the Netflix movie adaptation for this, and I’m not even mad at it. Actress J.Lo? I like her. I think she could be a great Mrs. Parrish.

🔥 Lit Meter: 4.9/5 Lighters

Readability When High: Easy to follow and super bingeable. The writing flows and the perspective shifts keep it moving.

Mind-Blown Factor: The twist is good, but I did find the ending a little predictable once it started clicking into place.

Vibe Check: Wealthy suburb perfection on the outside, messy intentions underneath, and tension that builds quietly but consistently.

Smokability: A clean hybrid. Something that keeps you relaxed but not too sleepy, because you’ll want to keep going.

Would I Reread While Baked? Yes. I’d reread it for sure, especially for the buildup and the way the perspectives are set up. It’s one of those books that’s fun to revisit once you already know what’s coming.

If you want a domestic thriller with rich-people obsession, shifting perspectives, and a smooth bingeable pace, The Last Mrs. Parrish is worth picking up. Pick it up here!

Do What Godmother Says by L.S. Stratton Book Review (Black Gothic Thriller)

Do What Godmother Says by L.S. Stratton Book Review (Black Gothic Thriller)

Do What Godmother Says by L.S. Stratton book review featuring a Black gothic thriller with Harlem Renaissance mystery vibes.

Do What Godmother Says by L.S. Stratton is a dual-timeline Black gothic thriller that moves between a present-day writer and a Harlem Renaissance artist, tied together by a painting with a deadly secret. It’s tense, eerie, and layered in a way that feels culturally rich instead of generic. And yes, it kept me turning pages… even when the main character had me wanting to reach through the book and shake her.

This post contains affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. All reviews are my own, and I either purchased the book myself or borrowed it using my Libby library card. Thank you for supporting Ashley Jane!

The story follows Shanice Pierce, a present-day writer whose life starts spiraling while she’s dealing with grief, stress, and the kind of mental exhaustion that makes everything feel heavier than it should. When a mysterious painting comes back into her life, it opens the door to a whole history she wasn’t prepared for. At the same time, the book flips you back into the Harlem Renaissance timeline, where we meet Estelle Johnson, an aspiring painter who gets pulled into the orbit of a wealthy patron who insists on being called “Godmother.”

What made this book hit for me was the atmosphere and the cultural alignment. This wasn’t just a thriller with Black characters dropped in. It had voice, texture, and a real sense of place. The Harlem Renaissance chapters were my favorite part, and every time the story jumped back, I was locked in. Those sections had that mix of beauty and danger that makes a book feel cinematic, especially with the way “Godmother” positions herself as a protector and benefactor while everything underneath her feels off.

I also loved that the book didn’t treat mental health like a quick plot device. Shanice’s stress, overwhelm, and family dynamics felt human, not just “thriller stuff happening.” The tension wasn’t only coming from the mystery, it was coming from her life already being heavy, which made everything feel sharper.

My only real annoyance was some repetition and the fact that Shanice stressed me out. There were moments where the same thoughts kept circling and I found myself like okay girl we get it. And she made choices that had me whispering “why would you do that???” more than once. But honestly, that’s also how I know the thriller was working. If the main character has your blood pressure up, the tension is doing its job.

Another critique is that I wanted the damage to feel more concrete. The concept of Godmother is so strong that I wanted one or two more moments that showed exactly how deep her reach goes, not just hints and vague references. That would’ve made the threat feel even bigger and the impact hit harder.

🔥 Lit Meter: 4.9/5 Lighters

Readability When High: Easy to follow and the timeline switching doesn’t get confusing. The pacing is steady and it keeps you locked in.

Mind-Blown Factor: Not constant shock twists, but the suspense builds in a way that keeps you reading because something feels wrong the whole time.

Vibe Check: Black gothic thriller energy with Harlem Renaissance beauty, art, power, and control layered underneath it all. Creepy, cinematic, and culturally rich.

Smokability: Something that keeps you calm but alert. Not too heavy, because you’ll start side-eyeing every character like it’s personal.

Would I Reread While Baked? Yes. Especially for the Harlem Renaissance chapters. That timeline was elite.

If you’re in the mood for a thriller that feels eerie, layered, and culturally aligned, Do What Godmother Says is worth the ride! You can pick it up here!

Heated Weighted Blanket Review (Warm + Calming Cozy Night Upgrade)

Heated Weighted Blanket Review (Warm + Calming Cozy Night Upgrade)

Heated weighted blanket on a bed for warm and cozy nights

This heated weighted blanket has been my favorite warm and calming cozy night upgrade, especially on cold nights when I want to relax without turning the heat all the way up. If you’ve been looking for a heated weighted blanket that feels comforting and actually makes your bed or couch time cozier, this is the vibe. Listen… I am not built for being cold. Like if my feet or arms are freezing, my whole mood is ruined.

Affiliate disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting Ashley Jane!

Why I wanted a heated weighted blanket

I’ve had a regular heated blanket before and I’ve tried weighted blankets before, but I wanted something that could do both. I wanted warmth that feels cozy without making me sweaty, and weight that feels calming without making me feel trapped. This is especially for those nights when you’re tired, overstimulated, and you just want to feel settled without doing anything extra.

What it actually feels like (in real life)

The best way I can describe it is… it feels like your blanket is doing its job extra hard. You get that comforting weight on top of you, but the heat makes it feel like you’re wrapped up in the coziest little cocoon. It’s giving: I’m safe, I’m warm, don’t ask me for anything.

What I love about this heated weighted blanket

  • It warms you up fast enough to change your mood

You know how being cold makes you irritated for no reason? Yeah. This fixes that. It doesn’t take forever to feel the warmth, which is the whole point because I’m not trying to suffer first and get cozy later.

  • The weight makes it feel calming

I’m not about to act like a blanket cures anxiety, but I will say the weight helps me feel calmer at night. It’s like my body finally unclenches and remembers we’re allowed to relax.

  • It’s perfect for couch nights too

This is not just a “sleep” blanket. This is a “put on a show, scroll your phone, and ignore everyone” blanket. It makes the couch feel like a whole experience, not just somewhere you’re sitting.

  • It helps me stay warm without blasting the heater

Turning up the heat every night feels disrespectful to my bank account. This gives me cozy warmth without running my bill up like I’m living in a mansion.

Who I recommend this for

If you’ve been searching for a heated weighted blanket for cold nights, cozy sleep, or warm couch time, this is for you. It’s also perfect if you want something that feels comforting and calming but still practical.

One thing to know before you buy

Because it’s a weighted blanket, it’s heavier than a regular heated throw. That’s the point, but I’m saying it upfront. If you love super light blankets that barely touch you, you might not love the weighted part. Me personally? I like feeling tucked in and held, so it’s perfect.

Final thoughts

This is one of those purchases that makes your nights better without you having to do anything extra. It’s warm, calming, cozy, and it makes staying in feel like self-care.

And if you’re building the full cozy setup, my strawberry candle warmer lamp is another favorite upgrade for warm vibes without a flame. You can read more about it here!

In the mood for a heated blanket? Check out the exact heated weighted blanket I bought! You would not regret it!

Hands-Free Kindle Holder + Page Turner for Bed (My Coziest Reading Setup)

Hands-Free Kindle Holder + Page Turner for Bed (My Coziest Reading Setup)

Hands-free Kindle holder with remote page turner set up for reading in bed

If you’ve been looking for a hands-free Kindle holder with page turner so you can read in bed without holding your Kindle the whole time, this setup is for you. I bought a Kindle holder stand + remote page turner and it’s honestly one of the best cozy purchases I’ve made. Like I can stay under the blanket, keep my hands warm, and still flip pages without touching the screen. It’s giving lazy genius and I’m not going back.

Quick take: If you read in bed a lot, this is an instant quality-of-life upgrade.

Affiliate disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you!

Why I bought a hands-free Kindle holder with page turner

I love a cozy reading night, but holding a Kindle gets annoying fast, especially when:

  • my hands get tired after like… 20 minutes
  • I’m laying on my side and it starts feeling awkward
  • I don’t feel like building a pillow fort just to be comfortable
  • I’m trying to stay warm under the covers and not move

This is one of those “small things” that changes the whole vibe.

This is the same kind of cozy upgrade as my strawberry candle warmer lamp because it’s small, but it makes the whole vibe better. If you missed that post, you can read it here

What I love about this Kindle holder + page turner combo

1) Reading in bed is actually hands-free

The stand holds your Kindle up at the perfect height, so you’re not gripping it the whole time or constantly shifting around trying to get comfortable. You can actually relax, keep your hands free, and stay in one cozy position without your arms getting tired five minutes in. It’s simple, but it makes reading in bed feel way more effortless.

2) The page turner remote is the best part (no debate)

This is what makes it elite. You click the remote and the page turns. That’s literally it. No reaching, no shifting, no fumbling around trying to tap the screen with frozen hands. If you’re the type who finally gets cozy and then instantly regrets having to move even one inch… you’re going to understand why this feels life-changing.

3) It’s perfect for cozy nights

Low light. Blanket up to your chin. Snack nearby. Your Kindle just sitting there perfectly in front of you like your own personal reading screen. It feels so extra in the best way, like you upgraded your whole bedtime routine without even trying. I’m telling you… it’s giving luxury.

4) It’s also great outside of bed

This setup is perfect for reading on the couch, reading while you’re eating, reading when your wrists are tired, or winding down before bed basically anytime you want to read without holding your Kindle the whole time.

Does this work for Kobo or other e-readers?

The stand part usually works for other e-readers too (like Kobo or Nook) as long as your device fits the clamp size.

The only thing I’d double-check before buying is:

  • the width/size of your device (some Kobo models may be wider)
  • the weight (bigger screens can feel heavier)
  • whether the page turner is compatible with your screen

Most page turner remotes work by “tapping” the screen to turn pages, so compatibility can depend on the device and settings. If you have a larger e-reader, just check the measurements before ordering so you don’t waste your money.

Who I recommend this setup for

If you’ve been searching for any of these:

  • hands-free Kindle holder with page turner
  • Kindle holder stand for bed
  • Kindle page turner remote
  • best Kindle accessories for reading in bed
  • how to read Kindle without holding it

…this is exactly that and for you!

Final thoughts

If you read in bed a lot, this hands-free Kindle holder + page turner setup is genuinely worth it. It’s one of those small upgrades that makes your whole night routine easier because you can stay cozy, keep your hands warm, and still turn pages without doing all that extra movement.

Best Candle Warmer Lamp With Timer + Dimmable Light (My Cozy Bedroom Upgrade 🍓)

Best Candle Warmer Lamp With Timer + Dimmable Light (My Cozy Bedroom Upgrade 🍓)

Strawberry candle warmer lamp with a jar candle underneath on a bedside table

This candle warmer lamp with timer is one of my favorite cozy bedroom upgrades lately. It melts candles evenly, makes the room feel warm and cute, and I don’t have to babysit a flame. If you’ve been searching for the best candle warmer lamp that gives strong scent throw without an open flame, let me put you on.

I love candles, but I’m not always in the mood to babysit a wick, especially at night when I’m winding down. This warmer makes the room feel warm and cute, the candle smell actually fills the space, and I can just set it and relax.

Affiliate disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you!

Why I wanted a candle warmer lamp in the first place

I’m a candle person. I want my room to smell good especially when I wind down with a joint or two after work. I want the vibe.

But I don’t always want to burn a candle, especially when:

  • I’m winding down at night
  • I’m cleaning or doing stuff around the apartment
  • I know I’m gonna get sleepy
  • I just want cozy light without the extra worry

A candle warmer gives the vibe without the flame. Simple. If you’re building the ultimate cozy night setup, you’ll probably love my hands-free Kindle holder + page turner too it makes reading in bed so much easier. Read about it here

Why I love this candle warmer lamp with timer

  1. Timer = I don’t have to think This is the main reason I love it. I can turn it on, set the timer, and relax. No “did I blow the candle out?” panic.
  2. Dimmable light = instant cozy mood lighting I’m not trying to sit under bright lights at night. I like my space calm and warm. The dimmer makes it feel like a cute little lamp moment.
  3. It makes candles last longer Because you’re not burning down the wick the same way, you can stretch your candles longer than usual. I’m always trying to be better with money, so yes… I love that.
  4. It’s decor Some candle warmers look like gadgets. This one actually looks like something I’d keep on my nightstand.

The strawberry design is quirky but there are other colors too

I went with the strawberry because I like things that feel a little fun and different. It’s cute, it’s quirky, and it makes me happy to look at. If you’ve been wanting a candle warmer lamp with timer for your bedroom or apartment, this one is honestly such a cute upgrade. But if strawberry isn’t your vibe, this warmer comes in other colors/styles too so you can still get the same cozy function without committing to the fruit aesthetic.
